Navigate to the stamp within its destination folder on the local computer. Please note that the default folder is C:\Users\<User>\AppData\Roaming\Tracker Software\PDFXEditor\3.0\Stamps.
Select the stamp file that you wish to modify.
Move/copy the stamp to the desktop. (This is a necessary step due to encoding parameters - if it is not included then changes cannot be saved!!).
Open the stamp that is now on the desktop, with Doc.It PDF Editor.
Under the Form toolbar, click Edit Form.
Right-click the text field you wish to change and click Properties. The Properties pane will open.
Under the Value Calculation property, use the menu to select Calculation: Custom Action. The entry Calculate action: Run a JavaScript will appear at the bottom of the Properties pane.
Open the Run a JavaScript property and inside make sure the text reads Line 1 - Blank (It is important to leave line one blank or else the script will not work) Line 2 - event.value = “your value here”. The value you give must be in quotes.
Save the stamp pdf when finished with all changes (if the stamp has multiple pages, all pages will have to be changed in the same way) and close the Doc.It PDF Editor.
Navigate back to the folder you originally got the stamp file, default is C:\Users\<User>\AppData\Roaming\Tracker
If you copied the original stamp file or the move did not delete the original, delete the original and replace it with the new stamp you just saved (make sure both files have the same name before deleting and replacing).
You should now have the new stamp when using Doc.It PDF Editor.
